The PNA Board Knowledge Sharing program is designed for current PNA Board members and Test Drive members to learn other Board positions.
GOALS
To provide for cross-training and succession planning among current PNA Board members and provide a path for Test Drive members to drill down on various positions on the PNA Board.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
- Participation is limited to current PNA members.
- Applicants can participate in the Knowledge Sharing Program or shadow specific Board positions.
- Benefits and Information:
- Allowed to participate in board meeting discussions (no voting)
- Opportunity to learn about, and perhaps participate in, USMS events at the national level (Relay, Annual
- Meeting, national committees)
- Develop beneficial relationships within the PNA community and expand your peer network
- Any board member may ask to learn or shadow another board member to learn about the position or how to do the work required by that position.
- Training period is dependent on the job
- Training someone doesn’t mean the trainee assumes the position upon completion of training. Whoever is in the PNA Board role maintains it until they resign, aren’t reappointed by the Board, or are removed by the Board for cause.
