Attention all U.S. Masters Swimmers!

Fine-tune your Starts and Turns

PNA’s 2024 Coach of the Year, Diana Hermanson, will guide us through two critically important skills in nearly every swim race: Starts and Turns. Diana has coached USA and USMS swimmers for over 25 years and is Head Coach of Bernardo’s All Stars in Tacoma, WA. She is a USMS certified level 3 coach and a level 4 ASCA coach.

You spoke and we listened. There will be a talented on-deck coach specifically assigned to your lane to assist with Diana’s instruction and help provide individualized feedback.

This will be a three hour clinic focusing on improving your starts and turns in upcoming swim races. Be prepared to learn from the best. No wonder Diana was so honored by PNA earlier this year!

Mentor Coach

Diana Hermanson began her competitive swimming career 50 years ago swimming under Hall of Fame coach, Dick Hannula, Sr. Earlier this year, she was awarded Coach of the Year by PNA. Born and raised in Tacoma, WA, she has decades of experience in coaching USA and USMS swimmers.

When not coaching, Diana works as a Sports and Medical Massage Therapist. She enjoys studying the kinesiology and physiology of athletes in their sports with a main emphasis on swimmers and their technique and movement through the water.
